Are you the Senior Accounting Specialist who enjoys a structured way of working and has the ability to analyze complex administrative matters? Do you have audit experience, and not just skilled in number crunching but able to link numbers to operational processes and looking to further your career in a goal-focused environment?

We are looking for a stress-resilient Accounting Specialist, responsible for managing accounting, financial control activities, data assurance, and compliance for several legal entities in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to visualize and streamline accounting processes.
  • Create detailed process maps and documentation to enhance transparency and efficiency within the accounting function.
  • Leverage advanced accounting software and reporting tools to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
Accounting Policy Development:
  • Formulate and update accounting policies in alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • E nsure that all accounting policies are communicated effectively across the organization and adhered to by all relevant departments.
Special Issues Resolution:
  • Analyze and address complex accounting issues, including impairment assessments, lease accounting, and provisions for liabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
Timely Reporting and Audit:
  • Control timely reporting, accuracy, and completeness (data assurance and validation).
  • Prepares and reviews the reconciliation on the financial accounts (balance and P&L) for the month-end closing.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of accounting experience (IFRS), a proven track record in financial reporting, compliance, and accounting processes, and expertise in maintenance and support of accounting systems.

A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Business Economics is required, as well as ACA or ACCA certification.

We offer an estimated salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
