About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Emcor Uk. As a key member of our site-based maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out PPM and reactive works to Building Services Systems within a group of client buildings.

Your Responsibilities:

">
  • Monitor and Control Operation: You will monitor and control the operation of critical building systems, ensuring they are functioning efficiently and effectively.
  • PPM & Reactive Maintenance: You will carry out regular preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks on all client HVAC assets, including gas-fired appliances, steam systems, air conditioning, refrigeration, and chiller systems.
  • Plant Fault Remediation: You will ensure that plant faults and defects are promptly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times.
  • Asset Record Keeping: You will maintain accurate and comprehensive records of statutory tasks, health and safety, building compliance, and quality assurance.
  • Educating and Monitoring Specialists: You will escort and monitor specialist subcontractors as required.
  • Permit to Work System: You will operate within a Permit to Work System in accordance with Emcor Uk procedures.
  • Routine Quality Assurance: You will assist with routine quality assurance checks on work activities, record keeping, and general housekeeping.
  • Spare Parts Management: You will ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant.
  • BMS System Overview: You will overview the buildings environmental conditions using the BMS System and utilise same to maintain acceptable internal conditions.
  • We are looking for someone who is formally trained in electrical systems/installation and holds relevant qualifications. You should have a general all-round knowledge of maintaining HVAC plant, building support systems, and their methods of control, including inverter drives. Knowledge or awareness of BMS and electrical systems is also essential.

    What We Offer:

    We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and holiday entitlement. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and career with Emcor Uk.

    This role is based in the UK, with opportunities to work on a variety of projects across the country. You will be required to travel to different sites and locations as needed.
