Job Description
  • Review procurement portals for Contracts Advance outputs and forecast new tender opportunities with associated timelines.
  • Regularly review portal coding's/categories to ensure capturing full DM services range.
  • Assess new tender portals/emails for relevance to DM teams.
  • Support Sector teams working on tender responses to meet agreed timelines and deliverable outputs.
  • Manage bid library/TenderBot inputs to create '1st draft' tender responses before handing over to relevant deliverables/question owner.
  • Review and summarise tender scope and requirements, drafting tender deliverables for initial Bid Manager review.
  • Ensure compliance question responses are timely, covering PQQ's and ITT's.
  • Report on tender costs, understanding time entries for individual tenders.
  • Manage DM CV's to ensure most recent/relevant CV's are presented for respective tender responses.
  • Review tender clarifications responses, advising tender team of pertinent responses altering scope/original questions.
  • Provide analysis on tender outcome statistics for continual improvement of tender responses and success rate.
  • Support stakeholders in developing a team proficient in producing tender responses and understanding processes.
  • Identify and share improvement areas in Bid Management activities with Bid Manager.
  • Maintain/expert knowledge through company-run/specialist CPD.
  • Format/enhance tender responses.
  • Submit Expressions of Interest after business decision, monitoring portals for updated information.
  • Populate bid systems/spreadsheets with relevant information for tracking/report production.
  • Liaise/support cross-functional departments for accurate information supply in all responses.
  • Manage mini-bid processes, leading smaller/less complex tenders.
  • Research using portals/websites to propose client opportunity 'win themes' for related tenders.
  • Work closely with Bid Manager to ensure proposal responses include innovative solutions demonstrating capability.

Required Skills and QualificationsThe Successful Candidate Will:
  • Have proven experience within a bid support role.
  • Show creative and bold ideas to bring bids/presentations to life.
  • Demonstrate excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Display strong project coordination abilities, supporting multiple bids concurrently.
  • Hold a critical eye and passion for delivering exceptional bids.
  • Show ability to support teams/Bid Manager in meeting deadlines.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, both written/verbal.
  • Be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams/subject matter experts.
  • Proficient in using bid portals/Microsoft Office Suite.
