Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Support Specialist to join our managed services team at Reed. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and leading technical projects.

About the Role:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams, resolving complex technical issues and improving overall IT service delivery.
  • Lead technical projects, including upgrades, migrations, and cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring successful project delivery and minimal disruption to clients.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to deploy and configure firewalls, endpoint protection, and other security measures to protect client data and systems.
  • Monitor client server performance and network traffic, responding to alerts and ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior technicians, helping them develop their technical skills and knowledge.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring seamless connectivity and minimal downtime.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a busy IT environment, preferably in a managed services team.
  • High-level technical support experience, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and networking.
  • Experience working with Office 365, Windows servers, Active Directory, and VMware.
  • Experience with networking, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Experience delivering IT projects, with a focus on successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
