We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team at a main dealership in Plymouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to the highest standards.



The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a main dealership environment, is essential. You will have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
  • Diagnose vehicle faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify any additional work required.
  • Complete all work to manufacturer standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with service advisors to ensure clear communication with customers regarding vehicle repairs.
  • Keep up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and repair techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following dealership procedures.


Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
