About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Account Manager to join our team at Monwell Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our online bookshop, the Guardian Bookshop, and driving online sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, responding promptly to editorial and marketing requests
  • Gain a deep understanding of client needs, audiences, and behaviors
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including editorial and commercial colleagues at the Guardian, publishers, and suppliers
  • Select and curate books and products for promotions, ensuring alignment with client goals
  • Liaise with Gardners to negotiate promotional discounts for campaign books
Marketing and Campaigns
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to develop campaigns that drive sales and engagement
  • Oversee the Guardian Bookshop content plan, ensuring a cohesive and effective marketing mix
  • Implement campaign plans in conjunction with the Ecommerce Executive, ensuring timely and accurate execution
  • Brief design, advertising, and other visual assets as required
  • Manage email marketing channels, including list management, sending, and reporting
Site Management and Analysis
  • Work with the Head of Ecommerce and Head of Marketing to achieve commercial goals
  • Plan activities to drive sales and engagement across the year
  • Collaborate with the Ecommerce Executive to ensure store updates and refreshes
  • Analyze and report on site performance, including sales, channels, and campaign responses
