Job Summary

Cardiff & Vale Community dietetic service is seeking a Dietitian to join our community paediatric team. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of 6 dietitians across Cardiff and Vale, providing dietetic support to children and their families at home through community clinics, home visits, and working with schools.

Main Duties

You will be based in Riverside Health Centre with close links to St David's Children's Centre, where Dietitians are a core part of the paediatric MDT. Some knowledge of paediatric dietetics is desirable, but comprehensive training and clinical supervision will be provided.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, a practical, forward-thinking approach to service development and evaluation, and the ability to work in a team.

You are required to travel around Cardiff and Vale as part of this role, including carrying equipment, and some evening and weekend work may be required.
