Enterprise Support Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Enterprise Support team at Amazon. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for crafting and executing strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the most iconic businesses in the country, helping them gain the most value from cloud technology. You will provide advice on architecture, support strategy, project and launch planning, as well as ongoing operational issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build solutions and provide technical guidance to customers.
  • Evaluate and improve the health and efficiency of AWS environments while reducing costs and complexity.
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with a range of partners, including developers, C-suite executives, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role, such as Technical Account Manager, Consultant, or Solutions Architect.
  • Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience with the ability to clearly articulate to small and large audiences.
  • Able to juggle tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-obsessed mindset.
  • Fluency in either one of the languages: Russian/German/Ukrainian.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are not required but would be beneficial:

  • Professional experience with cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
  • Programming or scripting skills with a combination of Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP.
  • Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, DevOps Engineer.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools including Continuous Integration/Deployment, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Chef.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development. The estimated salary for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
