Job Title: Plymouth, Devon

We are seeking a skilled Naval Architect Engineer to join our team at Babcock International in Devonport Royal Dockyard.

This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the through-life support of floating assets, surveying and specifying refit and repair packages, and reviewing periodic surveys carried out by our dedicated surveying team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD or other design software and a strong understanding of survey/NDE techniques, repair alternatives, and standards.

Salary: £43,935 - £49,104 + Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the through life support for floating assets.
  • Survey floating assets and specify refit and repair packages.
  • Review periodic surveys carried out by our dedicated surveying team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in AutoCAD or other design software.
  • Understanding of survey/NDE techniques, repair alternatives, and standards.
