About the Role

The Royal Air Force is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join their team as an apprentice chef. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for the RAF family, adhering to high standards of quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing menus that meet set standards
• Following specifications to maintain quality and control
• Assisting with inventory management and storage of ingredients
• Cooking meals for the day
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment
• Adhering to health and safety regulations

Training and Development

As an apprentice in the RAF, you will receive comprehensive training and development opportunities to enhance your culinary skills and knowledge. You will work closely with experienced chefs and trainers to develop your skills and achieve your full potential.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. You will also need to be motivated and prepared for a challenge.
