Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Purchasing/Supply Chain Manager to oversee our purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to enhance profitability
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure advantageous terms
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Utilise ERP systems to track purchases and analyse data
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing
  • Work closely with the logistics & production teams to ensure timely delivery of goods

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role within manufacturing
  • Proficient in using ERP
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and secure favourable terms
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality

Salary

The salary for this role is approximately £55,000 per annum, based on the location in Harlow.
