We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to support a child with additional needs in a school setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide individualized support to the child, as well as contribute to the whole class setting on occasions.

The ideal candidate will have a calm and reassuring nature, a positive attitude, and a flexible and enthusiastic approach to their work. You will be responsible for managing the behavior of pupils, de-escalating situations, and reporting any safeguarding concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the class teacher to support children with their learning
  • Manage the behavior of pupils and ensure a constructive and positive environment
  • De-escalate situations and report any safeguarding concerns
  • Carry out small group work and work with children with additional needs
