Southern Housing is a leading provider of care and support services across the UK, and we are seeking a skilled Care & Support Worker to join our team at Green Meadows, Freshwater, Isle of Wight. This part-time role offers a competitive salary of £15,704 (£21,985 FTE) for 25 hours per week, and provides an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
As a Care & Support Worker, you will work closely with our residents and their families to understand their unique needs and preferences, and develop tailored care plans to meet those needs. You will also be responsible for delivering care and support services in a way that promotes independence, rights, choices, and inclusion in the community.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant qualification, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have experience working with vulnerable adults. You will also require a driving licence and access to a vehicle, as well as basic IT skills.
