Job Overview

We're looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record in bid management and tender processes. You'll be responsible for setting the bid strategy, developing winning strategies, and delivering compelling proposals that showcase Veolia's capabilities and value proposition.

You'll lead a team in identifying, qualifying, and nurturing target opportunities, ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of Veolia's capabilities and the value we can deliver. Your goal is to increase the chances of winning new business and retaining contracts by effectively positioning Veolia as the best solution provider.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive bid strategies to ensure winning submissions
  • Lead a team in the identification, qualification, and nurturing of target opportunities
  • Oversight of proposal development, including market research and competitor analysis
  • Management of sector-focused proposition/proposal teams, ensuring efficient coordination and collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Significant experience in bid management and tender processes, covering bid management/capture management and/or project management
  • Demonstrable knowledge of business winning and project management (tools, techniques, channels, and practices)
  • Strong relationship development skills based on collaboration, analysis & trust, with fantastic communication and people skills to lead and develop a team
  • High attention to detail, with strong written skills and demonstrated ability to copywrite and/or publish content
