About the Role

As a Shift Leader at One Stop, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional results. You will be the face of our store, representing our brand and values, and making decisions that impact the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and cash handling.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and colleague engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Manage store inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting colleague engagement and well-being.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role, preferably in a leadership or management position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
