We are seeking a highly ambitious and driven Town Planner to join our team as an Asset Planner. The successful candidate will work closely with our Land Director and development team to assess the viability of future land purchases, manage external planning consultants, and provide strategic planning advice.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess the viability of future land purchases and provide strategic planning advice
  2. Manage external planning consultants on applications and appeals
  3. Work closely with the development team to identify and acquire new land opportunities
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and planning consultants
  5. Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans to achieve growth and expansion

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years post-graduate experience in town planning
  • MRTPI accreditation
  • Experience of working in a large town planning consultancy or house builder
  • Strong knowledge of planning policies and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
