WFS is a dynamic and fast-paced company seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Director to lead our warehouse and freight cargo operations in Windsor Locks, CT.

Estimated Salary Range:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Job Description
  • Manage and motivate warehouse and airport ramp personnel to ensure seamless 24/7/365 operations.
  • Collaborate with upper management to formulate administrative and operational policies and procedures.
  • Analyze financial and operations reports to identify areas for cost reduction and profit growth.
  • Develop recommendations for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Safety Compliance: Enforce adherence to safety rules and governmental regulations, ensuring a secure work environment.
  2. Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into internal and external complaints, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  3. Security: Ensure site-specific security plans are implemented and that all staff possess relevant company IDs.
  4. Training: Provide guidance and support to staff members, promoting professional development and growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing profitability.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
