Animal Care Moderator for BTEC Tech Awards

We are seeking a skilled Animal Care moderator to join our team in supporting the delivery of BTEC Tech Awards.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, in a relevant subject area, since qualifying as a teacher. A degree or equivalent qualification is also required.

As an Animal Care moderator, you will be responsible for moderating centres' assessment of candidates' work in accordance with agreed assessment criteria and procedures. This includes attending standardisation meetings, moderating centre assessments, sending special consideration requests to Pearson, and maintaining regular contact with your Team Leader.

You will also need to submit all Moderator marks and E9 Moderator reports on time, and keep records of your moderation role for one year after the examination series.
