Secondary School Sociology Teacher

A mixed comprehensive Secondary school in the London Borough of Greenwich is seeking a qualified Sociology Teacher to join their team on a long-term part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the KS4 and KS5 sociology curriculum and excellent classroom management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in sociology.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their best.
- Work collaboratively with other members of staff to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Implement the school's policies and procedures effectively.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Good communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
- Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching sociology in a secondary school.
- Able to adapt to the needs of students with varying abilities.
