Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Practitioner to join our New Beginnings team in Brent.

This exciting role will provide you with significant scope for growth and innovation within a supportive and friendly multidisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical professionals.

The main purpose of this role is to provide excellent quality of care to people who use our service accessing treatment across the Borough with a particular focus on people with opioid use and their complex needs, including prescription management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a dynamic team delivering an effective service covering Duty and Assessments.
  • Managing a caseload of clients, to include prescribing, providing a good quality of interventions at varying stages of their recovery.
  • Developing and delivering a wide range of groups as part of a creative team.
  • Supporting other areas of service delivery as well as helping to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support health and wellbeing.

About the Service

Via Brent, New Beginnings is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing psychosocial and clinical interventions in partnership with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL).

The team actively promotes recovery and works with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Brent residents, irrespective of circumstance.

Location

This post will be based at the Willesden Centre for Health and Care.
