Calf and Youngstock Feed Specialist

About the Role
Carrs Billington Agriculture is seeking a skilled professional to promote and support the sales of milk replacer products for calves and lambs, as well as starter compound and blended feeds for calves and lambs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Team in the sale of youngstock feeds to increase sales and profitability for the business.
- Own and resolve customer problems to prevent escalation and loss of customers.
- Identify herds where dairy feed is being supplied but not calf feed, focusing on Northern England, to gain market share.
- Assist in reviewing, amending, and developing products and suppliers to maintain a competitive edge.
- Deliver budgeted sales, volume, and margin targets for the product range across the geography.
- Support and develop sales through training of field sales and retail staff.
- Undertake self-training to continue personal development.
Requirements
- A solid agricultural background, not necessarily formal.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix organisation and deliver expectations.
