Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chief Nursing Officer to lead our night shifts team at Greenacre Park care home in Leicester. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the night shifts nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that align with our company values and best practices
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care planning and coordination
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making recommendations for improvement as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A registered nurse qualification (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration
  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in a care home or hospital setting
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including CQC guidelines

Location and Contract Type

This role is based at our Greenacre Park care home in Leicester, with a full-time contract type. You will be required to work 12-hour shifts, with flexibility to accommodate staffing needs.
