About the Role
The Care Coordinator / GP Assistant role is a key position within our practice, supporting GPs and other healthcare professionals with their workload. This role encompasses all aspects of administrative patient care, ensuring the highest level of administrative patient care possible.
Main Responsibilities
- Managing patient care for patients with long term conditions
- Supporting GPs with their administrative workload
- Clinical Coding
- Administration of test reports and results
- Ensuring patients are invited for screening
- Coding patient records and summarising patient notes
- Dealing with patient tasks and queries
- Providing occasional backup to our Reception team
About Us
Ridgeway View Family Practice is a busy general practice based across two sites, offering care to circa 14,300 patients. We're a large, busy practice and all staff work together as One Team to provide excellent patient care and a stimulating and welcoming environment.
What We Offer
We're committed to training and developing both the clinical and non-clinical team. We operate using System One Clinical system. Full training will be given for this role for the right person who is keen to learn all aspects of patient care administration.
