About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Psychology team, providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation, intervention, and evaluation to children and families. The successful candidate will work closely with AHP, medical, and nursing colleagues to build strong working relationships and provide teaching, training, consultation, and supervision as required.

Main Duties
  • Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, intervention, and evaluation to children and families.
  • Provide teaching, training, consultation, and supervision as required.
  • Build strong working relationships with AHP, medical, and nursing colleagues within the service and wider partner agencies.
  • Offer placements to Psychologists in training.
  • Link in with regional and national groups for psychologists in paediatrics and diabetes care.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Experience of the application of clinical psychology in different cultural contexts is desirable.
