Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Rural Valuation Team Leader to join our Chester office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and growing our rural valuation provision in the North West.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual with leadership skills, experience in rural valuations, and a passion for building relationships with clients. You will work closely with colleagues to develop the profile of the team and increase its market share.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as principal valuer for the Chester office, undertaking a range of valuations for secured lending, tax, and other purposes across predominantly rural properties, farms, and estates.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality valuation services to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to generate new opportunities and grow the business.
- Prioritize workload efficiently, managing time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.
- Communicate effectively with team members, colleagues, and clients, providing excellent customer service and maintaining good relationships.
Person Specification
- A Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with extensive experience in rural valuations and a strong understanding of the industry.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate team members to achieve their best.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
