Dental Nurse
Company Overview:
Portman Dentex is seeking a highly skilled Dental Nurse to contribute to the delivery of exceptional dental care in a supportive environment.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during patient examinations and treatments, ensuring a high level of patient care and comfort.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment for treatments, adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent patient support throughout procedures, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Manage stock levels of dental materials and equipment, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste.
- Process patient records and update relevant information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, contributing to a safe working environment.
Required Skills:
- Qualified Nurse with relevant certifications, preferably with experience in dental assisting or nursing.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Strong patient care abilities to provide comfort and reassurance, prioritizing patient needs and well-being.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining digital records, with proficiency in software applications relevant to dental care.
- Proficient in English language for clear communication with patients and team members, with the ability to adapt to diverse communication styles.
- Organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently, prioritizing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay Range: £11.80-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours per week: 37.5
