About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electric Drive Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of high voltage electric drive systems and the ability to develop and design product options in line with customer specifications.

The role will involve working closely with technical teams within Wrightbus and nominated strategic suppliers to ensure that all technical aspects are fully considered and validated. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to provide system technical information and documentation for both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design product options in line with customer specifications
  • Investigate and source as necessary any requirement for new materials and technology
  • Work with suppliers and partners to ensure that components and sub-systems can be integrated together to achieve overall vehicle objectives and performance
  • Manage definition, execution, and successful completion of verification and validation plans against specified requirements
  • Provide system technical information and documentation for both internal and external customers
