About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Support Specialist for Young Adults. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young people aged 16-25 with vision impairment and additional complex needs.

As a Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in empowering our young adults to develop their independence and daily living skills. You will provide personalized support, respond to their needs, wishes, and aspirations, and help them access leisure and social activities within the community.

Working closely with our team, you will ensure that our young adults receive high-quality support and guidance to reach their full potential. Your expertise and compassion will help create a safe and supportive environment for them to thrive.

Job Description
  • Provide personalized support to young adults with vision impairment and additional complex needs
  • Help develop their independence and daily living skills
  • Assist with accessing leisure and social activities within the community

You will work a 28-hour week over Saturday and Sunday, from 08:00 to 22:30. We offer a competitive salary package, including a £500 welcome bonus, six weeks' annual leave plus eight bank holidays, occupational sick pay scheme, and comprehensive training and development opportunities.
