Cyber Lawyer 3+ Role

Rare opportunity for an ambitious cyber lawyer to join a leading team in the City and work on a diverse caseload including cyberattacks, data breaches, regulatory matters, and pre-breach services.

You will be advising corporate clients, insurers, and their insureds in evaluating data breaches and cyber exposures, and assisting in responses to suspected breaches and cyber threats.

This includes negotiating with attackers, managing forensic investigations, notifying regulators, and dealing with law enforcement and government authorities.

You will also advise on post-notification requests, complaints, and claims. Strong litigation experience and previous cyber knowledge are essential, and any technology and/or media disputes experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising corporate clients on cyber exposures and data breaches
  • Assisting in responses to suspected breaches and cyber threats
  • Negotiating with attackers and managing forensic investigations
  • Notifying regulators and dealing with law enforcement and government authorities
  • Advising on post-notification requests, complaints, and claims
