We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our finance team in Carlisle, UK. The ideal candidate will oversee financial planning, reporting, and analysis, ensuring the company's financial health and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
  • Manage cash flow, ensuring financial stability and compliance with tax laws.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes, including audits.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.
  • Implement and improve financial systems, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
