About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologist to join our team as a Locum Consultant, specializing in Breast Imaging. This is a 12-month fixed-term position that offers an excellent opportunity to work with a busy DGH and be part of the South West London Network for Breast Services.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the provision of high-quality imaging services, working closely with colleagues from the Royal Marsden Hospital and other healthcare providers.

The successful candidate will have experience in undertaking a wide range of Radiology procedures at Consultant level and hold a Medical Degree, Radiology Qualification, and GMC Registration.

This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of imaging protocols and guidelines
  • Promote evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £150,000 - £200,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is a full-time position with a 5-session commitment in symptomatic breast imaging and the remainder in the main department.
