The Position

We are seeking a skilled Day Electrical Engineer to join our team at ReFood Ltd, Doncaster Site. The role involves working 45 hours per week, with the option to work overtime to provide shift cover as and when required.

As a Day Electrical Engineer, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Performing day-to-day maintenance of all plant and machinery.
  • Carrying out site electrical installations and upgrade work around the plant.
  • Working under Health & Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintaining the electrical systems of the plant, including the ppm system.
  • Completing routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned maintenance schedules, including risk assessments.
  • Troubleshooting and solving electrical problems.
  • Providing production support within the shift team and providing shift cover when required.
  • Assisting other mechanical/operational departments as needed.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Should have experience working in an Anaerobic Digestion facility or a related field.
  • Must have at least 10 years' experience working in an industrial background.
  • Must have served a recognized Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • Should have extensive electrical experience working in a continuous process environment.
  • Should have proven experience with fault finding, including troubleshooting, and solving problems.
  • Should be familiar with general factory maintenance practices.
  • Should be conversant with installation knowledge – PLC's, Controls, automation, and wiring.
  • Should be able to work using their own initiative.
  • Should be able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Should be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Should be a motivated individual.
