HGV Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our client's team at their busy Dartford site. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of commercial vehicles, including LGVs and HGVs, to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of the company's fleet of LGVs and HGVs
  • Working as part of a team and remotely when required
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with risk assessments and method statements
  • Vehicle servicing and repair work
Requirements:
  • Experienced in commercial vehicles and electrical systems
  • Full Clean UK Driver's License
  • City and Guilds Level's 1,2 and 3 or equivalent NVQ in standard motor mechanics
  • Knowledge of cranes, white lining equipment and hydraulic systems (not essential)
Benefits:
  • Salary DOE - £20.00ph (£200 per day)
  • Monday to Friday 06:30am - 16:30pm
  • Overtime rate at 1.5x
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays
