Job Overview

This role involves delivering pharmaceutical consignments to/from distribution centres and Polar Speed depots. As a Class 2 Licence driver, you will make collections and deliveries, assist with loading/unloading, and ensure products are transported within the required temperature range.

The successful candidate will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, averaging 48/50 hours, and be flexible to meet service requirements which may involve urgent medical deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Scan all consignments and complete daily safety checks of vehicle and refrigeration unit
  2. Deliver consignments accurately and on time, maintaining products within the required temperature range
  3. Ensure records of deliveries are electronically captured and driver manifests completed
  4. Maintain daily communications for service updates and demonstrate professional driving competency
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years driving experience
  • C category driving licence (ideally no more than 3 points)
  • Previous relevant experience advantageous
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: £31,039.01 P/A (40 hours), £38,792.00 P/A (50 hours)
