As a District Training Engagement Officer, you will collaborate with the District Training Lead and other Training Officers to achieve the district's training objectives. You will support Unit Training Leads (UTLs) in creating and implementing effective training plans that align with organisational and unit needs, as well as assist with the logistics and maintenance of unit training resources.
Key Responsibilities- Work with the Unit Training Lead to ensure the training plan supports the development of our people.
- Oversee and maintain equipment stored at units to ensure they are in good working order.
- Ensure that sufficient resources are available for unit training to run smoothly and efficiently.
- Oversee the unit's training asset registers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Attend training meetings and district leadership meetings as necessary to stay informed and provide updates.
- Support the induction of new Unit Training Leads and the ongoing development of all assigned Unit Training Leads to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
