**New CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist Opportunity**

Elysium Healthcare Limited is seeking an experienced CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in a new partnership with Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

As a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based and focused treatment plans to support children and young people, as well as their families, as they progress through their care plans to understand eating behaviors and restore physical health.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting admission assessments and maintaining effective management plans for all young people on the unit

• Conducting risk assessments and reviewing regularly

• Allocating specialist psychological treatments in line with individual needs

• Assessing physical health

• Ensuring effective liaison with referring teams

• Facilitating regular CPA review meetings

• Acting as Responsible Clinician for young people detained under the Mental Health Act

• Involvement in quality, inspections, and governance processes

• Participating in the On Call Consultant rota

You will also be required to have:

• Registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a license to practice

• Experience of CAMHS Forensic and/or Eating Disorders desirable
