We are a Charity dedicated to protecting and enhancing People, Landscape and Wildlife in the Dales. For 27 years, we have delivered diverse and inspirational projects, planting 1.6 million trees and securing the future of over 850 hectares of wildflower hay meadows.

About the Role

The Chief Fundraising Officer will play a key role in creating and implementing a new fundraising strategy, aiming to build on the charity's success. As a member of the YDMT Executive Leadership Team, you will provide leadership, vision, and direction, assisting the Board to set and implement the strategic direction of YDMT.

Your Responsibilities

• Create and implement a new fundraising strategy to grow voluntary income and deliver large-scale funding bids.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and provide inspirational leadership to the fundraising team.
• Work within our culture, sharing our values of being creative, caring, honest, and enabling.

Requirements

• A background in fundraising or development with strategic planning experience.
• Excellent leadership and relationship building skills.
• A natural networker and ambassador with a track record in closing six-figure gifts.

Salary and Benefits

£50,630 - £56,173 per annum (full-time, 35 hours per week). Part-time opportunities also available.

Location

Based at our offices near Settle, with a mix of office and home working.
