Location: Midlands or Swynnerton/Rugby, with national coverage.

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our Energy business team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work in a dynamic environment and make a significant contribution to the success of our company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and insight to our tender teams, working with the management team to develop Construction Work Instructions, maintaining a digital library of these instructions, and assisting the training department in ensuring the correct competencies are in place for our skilled workforce.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support and guidance to tender teams on construction methods and procedures
  • Developing and maintaining Construction Work Instructions to ensure consistency and compliance across projects
  • Maintaining a digital library of Construction Work Instructions to facilitate easy access and updates
  • Assisting the training department in identifying gaps in competence and arranging necessary training to ensure full compliance with company and client procedures

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, relevant qualifications such as CITB Site Management or equivalent, and experience in developing and implementing Construction Work Instructions. A good understanding of company procedures and client expectations is also essential.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus benefits including generous holiday entitlement, flexible working, family-friendly policies, and a contributory pension scheme.
