We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activities Therapist to join our team at Macklin Care Homes. As an Activities Therapist, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and engaging environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of activities and services.
- Provide exceptional support and care to residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and inclusive care home culture.
Requirements:
- Relevant vocational qualifications (achieved or working towards).
- Experience working with elderly residents suffering from dementia.
- Knowledge of Care of the Elderly Patients Charter of Rights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organisation.
