Role Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our dedicated team at our Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in York. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing psychological assessment, intervention, and support to our residents.

Our service is a specialist Level 2 purpose-built neurorehabilitation facility, rated as "Good" by the Care Quality Commission. We support up to 26 patients with acquired brain injuries, traumatic brain injuries, severe neurological conditions, complex strokes, and spinal cord injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical psychology input.
  • Direct and support others in carrying out evidence-based clinical psychology interventions.
  • Take personal responsibility for adhering to security procedures and continuously assess and manage risks.
Requirements
  • HCPC Registration
  • BPS Registration
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • Successful candidates must undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
