Prospero Teaching is seeking a skilled Chemistry Teacher to join an Ofsted "Good" Secondary school in Bath. This large mainstream Secondary School boasts a supportive cover team and teaching staff, with a strong focus on CPD throughout the year. While the school does have a 6th form, most timetables for this role will be at key stage 3 and key stage 4 levels.

About the Role

This full-time position is open to both graduates and experienced cover supervisors. Depending on performance, the school would consider extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching Chemistry to students at key stage 3 and key stage 4 levels
  • Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
Requirements
  • Recent graduate with a 2:1 or higher degree in Chemistry or a related field
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year
  • Qualified Teaching Status
