We are seeking an experienced 4th Engineer to join our client’s new LNG powered RoPax vessel for a temporary contract. The successful candidate will join the vessel at the shipyard in China and participate in training and vessel familiarisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel’s engines and systems.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and repair of the vessel’s equipment and machinery.
  • Collaborate with the bridge team to ensure smooth vessel operations.

Requirements:

  • Advanced IGF certification.
  • STCW Proficiency in Advanced Training for IGF Code.
  • STCW III/1 - Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch.
  • Crowd Management.
  • Medical First Aid.
  • Passenger Safety Training.
  • STCW Elementary First Aid.
  • STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting.
  • STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities.
  • STCW Personal Survival Techniques.
  • STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats.
  • STCW Security Awareness.
  • STCW Advanced MN Fire Fighting.
  • STCW Seafarers with Designated Security Duties.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The vessel will be operating in international waters, and the candidate will be required to adhere to all relevant regulations and standards.
