Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced welder fabricator to join our team at GI Pro. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating complex sheet metal welded fabrications from engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manufacture bespoke sheet metal components using MIG and TIG welding techniques
  • Modify existing parts to fit test rigs and repair components that have failed during testing
  • Collaborate with the design team to provide advice and guidance on welding and fabrication processes
  • Ensure all welding and fabrication equipment is maintained and fit for purpose
  • Follow company health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong background in automotive manufacturing
  • Confident use of sheet metal tools and processes, including bending and forming complex shapes
  • Ability to work with and without engineering drawings
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
