About RPS Water Consulting

We're a leading provider of consulting and engineering services, working on some of the world's most complex problems. Our Water Consultancy business has a range of prestigious AMP8 programmes leading into AMP9 and beyond.

As a Utilities Asset Inspector, you'll play a critical role in helping us deliver great projects for our Water Industry clients. You'll work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of water project experts on a range of capital delivery projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Capture features and relevant information related to health & safety measures and structural conditions during inspections.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of Water and Sewage Infrastructure Assets.
  • Work on policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Contribute to a well-rounded and highly skilled team to help meet KPIs and grow the business.
  • Develop and maintain accurate inspection reports.
  • Support the Asset Management framework objectives.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Civil/Structural Engineering Inspection and Water site work is beneficial.
  • A strong understanding of structural features, pipe bridges, and pipe tunnels is essential.
  • Civil / Structural Engineering Inspection skillsets from other utilities will be considered.
  • Excellent IT skills are required, with familiarity with the MS 365 suite of programs.
  • A knowledge of Health and Safety culture and its application is necessary.
