As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role within our client's commercial team, leading the team on a project and working collaboratively with customers and industry specialists. You will add value and ensure best practice throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exposure to the full project lifecycle, with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery
  • Working alongside the project delivery team to ensure contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors
  • Managing the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement
  • Being involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome
  • Managing junior surveyors and leading a large project team

Requirements:

  • Main contractor experience as the SQS within the construction space
  • Experience of different contract forms
  • Experience on projects ranging between 10m to 50m
  • Interest in leading and managing a large project team
