Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and clean all public areas, including bars and restaurants, to the highest standards.
  • Clean all rooms to a high standard, ensuring any issues are reported to the relevant department.
  • Contribute to achieving the highest levels of guest satisfaction in all areas, working collaboratively with the team.
Key Duties as a Head Housekeeper:
  • Conduct daily inspections of all bedrooms and public areas to ensure cleaning standards are acceptable.
  • Ensure that all housekeeping procedures are carried out correctly and to the required standard by all housekeeping staff.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure everyone is aware of team goals.
  • Control linen supplies, checking linen received and returning any items that are not acceptable.
  • Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and that invoices are sent to the Accounts department.
Requirements:
  • At least 6-12 months of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a small 4/5* country house hotel.
  • Proven ability to work in a hands-on environment, as this is a small operation.
