Interim HR Shared Services Project Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shared Services professional to lead on the planning and implementation of a Shared Service operation in a Public Sector organisation.
About the RoleThis is a 3-month interim opportunity (with potential to go permanent) to join an HR team that services a multi-site Public Sector operation. The successful candidate will work alongside the People Director and IT Director to establish the foundations of a shared service centre for the first time in the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Project manage and oversee the establishment of the shared service centre.
- Lead the HR Shared Services Team, providing advice and guidance on transactional HR matters.
- Process all transactional HR matters, including recruitment, contracts management, HRIS maintenance, performance review cycles, training records, and payroll.
The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and implementing a new shared service operation, preferably in a Public Sector environment. They must be available to start ASAP and be willing to work in Northwich.
