Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Child Development Specialist to contribute to improving the quality of education provided by maintained schools and academies in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight for children and young people, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The ideal candidate will provide psychological advice and support to communities, schools, parents, children, and young people, as well as contributing to multi-agency support for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing psychological advice (including statutory advice) to SEN services and other officers for children and young people aged 0 – 25.
  • Providing psychological advice and support to communities, schools, parents, children, and young people.
  • Contributing to multi-agency support for children and young people.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD/Doctorate or Masters in Educational Psychology or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Educational Psychologist.
