Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transaction Recording: Accurately recording financial transactions such as invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses into accounting software.
  • Ledger Maintenance: Maintaining the general ledger and other subsidiary ledgers to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Comparing the company's financial records against bank statements to ensure they match.
  • Invoice Processing: Reviewing, verifying, and processing supplier invoices for payment.
  • Payment Execution: Preparing and executing payments to suppliers, whether through checks, bank transfers, or other payment methods.
  • Invoice Generation: Preparing and sending invoices to customers for products or services provided.
  • Credit Management: Monitoring outstanding payments, sending reminders, and chasing overdue accounts.
  • Cash Allocation: Recording incoming payments from customers and allocating them to the correct accounts.

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000
