About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our team at Churchill Medical Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to our patients, working closely with medical and nursing professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the nursing and medical team in the efficient and effective provision of nursing services to patients.
- Ensure the effective working of treatment rooms and maintain adequate clinical stock levels.
- Undertake health promotion activities as directed by the nurse manager within agreed delegated competencies.
- Collect blood samples, ensuring patient comfort and obtaining consent as required.
- Accurately label and store samples, checking patient identification against GP or nurse requests.
- Record blood sample collections in patient records, following practice procedures.
- Perform other duties as required, including vaccinations, blood pressure recordings, ECGs, spirometry, and audiometry.
Person Specification
- GCSE level maths and English or equivalent.
- Previous phlebotomy, nursing, or healthcare experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
